Date: 2010-07-16 09:36 pm (UTC)Texture was more like "hm, what texture can I use to go behind Usagi that would work" and remembering that I had that particular one somewhere. And I made Poem because I was slightly pissed at the Mixx/Tokyo Pop translation of where she quotes Yates because they basically just translated it from the Japanese, which doesn't make sense when the original was in English originally anyways. But yes, it is pretty and the first thing I thought of when I saw the prompt.
I really like how remainder turned out too because all of the negative space in the icon really does emphasize how alone Usagi is at that point.
I am definitely doing the drabbles because writing off quick pieces based on a prompt is a lot easier for me than making icons to be honest. Or at least faster.
